The honest truth about Crumbl promo codes in 2026
Crumbl does not consistently release public promo codes. If you searched for a Crumbl discount code and landed on a site listing 30 to 60% off codes, almost none of those codes work. SimplyCodes, which tracks coupon codes across thousands of retailers, confirms that no public promo codes for Crumbl have been reliably verified across the past two years.
That is not bad news. Crumbl’s actual savings system is built around its rewards program, which earns you free cookies and perks automatically with every purchase. The birthday free cookie, the military in-store discount, and occasional new-store opening codes are the only consistently confirmed ways to reduce what you pay. Everything else (the referral bonus, Double Crumbs events, and free-item promotional days) surfaces a few times per year and is worth watching for.
This page covers every confirmed savings method, explains exactly how each one works, and tells you honestly which ones are worth your time and which ones are not.

Crumbl Rewards program: how it works
The Crumbl Rewards program is the single most reliable way to save money on Crumbl over time. It is free to join, earns you points (called Crumbs) on every purchase, and lets you redeem those points for free cookies and perks. Join through the Crumbl app or at crumblcookies.com.
How to join Crumbl Rewards
- Download the free Crumbl app (iOS or Android)
- Create an account with your email address
- Add your birthday in your profile to activate the birthday reward

- Every purchase now earns Crumbs automatically in the app
You can also join at crumblcookies.com. The app version offers the most features, including the rewards wallet and promo code field at checkout.
How Crumbs points work
- You earn Crumbs on every dollar you spend (rate depends on your tier)
- Bronze members earn 10 Crumbs per $1 spent
- Higher tiers earn more Crumbs per dollar
- Crumbs accumulate in your app wallet until you choose to redeem
- Redemption happens at checkout, replacing payment for a free item
- You cannot combine a Crumbs redemption with a separate promo code on the same order
Crumbl Rewards tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Pink

more Crumbs per dollar and get access to additional perks.

Crumbl birthday free cookie: how to claim it
The birthday free cookie is the most reliable free-item offer Crumbl consistently delivers. You get one free single dessert (approximately $4.50 to $5 value) as a voucher sent via SMS at 10:00 AM MT the day before your birthday. It is available to all Crumbl Rewards members and is valid for approximately 40 days.
How to activate your birthday reward
Birthday reward details
- Value: one free single full-size dessert (~$4.50 to $5)
- Sent via SMS at 10:00 AM MT the day before your birthday
- Also appears in the app wallet at the same time
- Valid for approximately 40 days from the date issued
- Available to all Crumbl Rewards members, not tier-gated
- Applies online through the app, not restricted to in-store only
- You can choose from any active cookie on the current weekly menu
- Cannot be combined with a separate promo code on the same order
Crumbl military discount: 10% off in-store
Who qualifies
- Active duty service members
- Veterans
- Their immediate family members (at participating locations)
- First responders (at some franchise locations)
- AAA cardholders (10% at some locations, show card)
Eligibility and discount amounts are set at the franchise level. Most locations offer 10% off, but the exact program varies by store owner.
How to claim the military discount
- This discount is in-store only and cannot be applied online or through the app
- Show your military ID at the counter before the order is rung up
- Some locations use SheerID for verification; ask the staff which method they use
- The discount is typically applied to your order total at the register
- Your Crumbs points still accumulate on the discounted total
- Cannot be combined with a separate promo code in most cases
Important: Crumbl does not run a national digital military discount program verified through SheerID or UNiDAYS that generates an online code. Any site claiming you can get an online military discount code for Crumbl is not accurate. The discount is applied at the discretion of the franchise owner, in person.
Crumbl new-store opening promo codes
When a new Crumbl location opens, the brand typically releases a location-specific promo code for a free or discounted cookie, usually a free Chocolate Chip Cookie. These codes are one of the few genuine Crumbl promo codes that circulate publicly and actually work.
How opening codes work
- The code is unique to that store and time window, for example ONWOODBRIDGE for a Canadian opening
- They typically offer one free single cookie, usually the Chocolate Chip classic
- Available for a short window around the opening event, often just the first week
- Announced on Crumbl’s local social media pages and sometimes the main account
- Can often be used via the app at that location’s online ordering page
- Enter the code at checkout in the promo code field
How to find opening codes near you
- Follow Crumbl’s main TikTok and Instagram accounts for announcements
- Search social media for your city name plus “Crumbl opening” in the week before a new store
- Check the Crumbl app for your nearest store to see if a new location has been added
- The r/Crumbl subreddit often posts opening codes shared by community members
- Grand opening events sometimes include in-person giveaways too
Crumbl free-cookie events and promotions in 2026
Crumbl runs national free-item promotional days a few times per year, announced primarily
through TikTok and Instagram. Below is the known 2026 log.
When a new one drops, it will be added here.

August 2026 | Free Dirty Soda promotion at participating stores | Past |
Holiday season | Seasonal holiday promotions (historically run Nov to Dec) | Watch app |
TBD | Next free-item day (watch TikTok and Instagram for announcement) | Not yet confirmed |

How to use a Crumbl promo code: step by step
In the Crumbl app
- Open the Crumbl app and sign in to your account
Codes and vouchers only apply to signed-in orders - Select your store and browse the current menu
Some codes are store-specific and won’t apply at other locations - Add your desired cookies or box to the cart
Check if the code has a minimum order requirement - Tap Checkout and review your order
The order summary screen is where the code field appears - Enter the code in the “Promo Code” or “Coupon” field
Enter it exactly as shown, codes are usually case-insensitive but avoid spaces - Tap Apply and confirm the discount appears before placing the order
The updated total should show before you submit payment
On the Crumbl website
- Go to crumblcookies.com and sign in to your account
Use the same login as your app account - Select your local store and choose your cookies
The website shows the same weekly lineup as the app - Proceed to checkout and reach the payment review screen
The promo code field is on the payment page - Enter your code and click Apply before submitting
The discount must show on-screen before you place the order
Notes on stacking and limits
- Crumbl typically allows only one discount per order
- You can use a promo code OR a Crumbs redemption, but not both at once
- Your Crumbs balance still accumulates even when you use a promo code
- Birthday vouchers apply from the app wallet and do not require entering a code
The truth about Crumbl coupon sites
Warning: most Crumbl coupon codes listed online do not work
If you found a site listing codes like SAVE20, CRUMBL30, FREESHIP, or WELCOME5 claiming to give you 20 to 60% off Crumbl Cookies, those codes are almost certainly expired, unofficial, or completely made up. Here is why:
- Crumbl does not consistently release public discount codes to coupon aggregators
- SimplyCodes, one of the most rigorous coupon tracking platforms, confirms no verified public Crumbl codes across the past two years
- Third-party coupon sites generate traffic by listing unverified codes and updating the “last verified” date without actually testing them
- Codes claiming 30 to 60% off are not consistent with any known Crumbl promotional program
- Entering fake codes wastes your time and can sometimes trigger fraud filters on your account
How to spot a fake Crumbl coupon site
- Claims “30 to 60% off” or “50+ active codes” for Crumbl
- Lists codes like FREESHIP, SAVE25, CRUMBL20, WELCOME5 without specific date context
- Has a “success rate” claim but codes consistently fail at checkout
- The page is titled for a different company (like Popeyes) but shows Crumbl content
- Codes were “verified” months ago with no update since
What actually works instead
- Join Crumbl Rewards (free, earns from day one)
- Add your birthday to your profile for the annual free cookie
- Follow Crumbl on TikTok for free-item day announcements
- Watch for new-store opening codes if a location is coming near you
- Enable app notifications for any limited-time app-exclusive offers
- Subscribe to Crumbl email and text alerts for occasional seasonal codes

8 tips to get the best value from every Crumbl order
Make the most of rewards
- Join immediately if you have not: you start earning Crumbs from order one, so waiting costs you points
- Add your birthday early in your profile, not a day before, to guarantee the voucher fires correctly
- Enable app notifications so you catch Double Crumbs events and limited-time offers the moment they go live
- Do not redeem Crumbs too early if you are close to a tier upgrade; more Crumbs per dollar means free cookies come faster at higher tiers
Smart ordering habits
- Pre-order Sunday night for Monday pickup: popular weekly flavors sell out by midweek, and a confirmed order locks in your box
- Use a 6-pack when the weekly lineup has multiple appealing flavors: better per-cookie value than singles
- Follow free-event announcements on TikTok: Crumbl announces free-item days there first, usually with 24 to 48 hours notice
- Check for a new store near you: if one is opening, the opening code for a free cookie is the easiest Crumbl freebie available
